My Story
Why Scentsy? Freedom, Flexibility, Extra Income. The reasons are endless and totally up to you but take a chance to change your life and explore the possibilities because you just never know if you don't give it a go.
My name is Mim Nikaj. I am a busy mum to 8 kids 5 Girls and 3 Boys from 18 to 5 and a Wife to an amazingly supportive husband Neil, who works alongside me. I often get asked how I have the time to run a business and raise a family of 8 kids but the flexibility to work my hours when I want makes that an easy transition from family to work and vice versa. Scentsy has given us the ability to be a real family. Not only do we work together, we spend more time connecting and doing things we’ve never done before.
Scentsy has had a great impact to our lives, we have made some amazing friends worldwide, our team has become our family and we love seeing them hit milestones within their own business. We have travelled on all expenses paid incentive trips overseas, something I thought was never possible. Having a big family means holidays are not a priority because making any financial decision to spend money on us rather than on the kids is hard to do, so earning free trips means we don’t have to feel guilty. Having that extra money to do things for us has given us a little financial freedom all whilst I work around the kids, I’m there for school pickups, drop offs and for any of our kids school activities, more importantly we have not missed out on our youngest girls milestones.
To think that the reason why I joined almost 5 years ago (Jan 26) and why I am here today is because of one word my husband uttered to me “NO”. That one word being the reason to make me want it even more and then waiting for him to fall asleep before using his card to sign up. Granted he knew my previous attempts at other party plan only meant I spent more than what I made, yet by telling me I couldn’t do it fuelled the fire within me to prove him wrong.
The initial plan was to run it as a "HOBBY" and as a means to support my new found love addiction. It was Affordable, offered amazing decor and unbelievable Scents that triggered every childhood memory. Being new to Australia and huge overseas meant that not everyone has been blessed to experience Scentsy and all its Wickless glory. :-)
As YOUR consultant I aim to provide you with the best customer service experience. My customers are amazing and I'm so grateful of their loyalty to me. I am blessed to have had them be a big part of my Journey.
